Activities
The SRM runs several activities in the fields of integration, social assistance and the training of migrants and refugees:

- information desk
- assistance to find a job, get health care, dealing with the public administration, accommodation support
- Italian language courses
- home management and caretaking courses for foreign women
- individual school assistance, scholarships and advice to support migrants' integration in the local schools
- chaplaincy programme at Rome Fiumicino airport
- training of volunteers and staff
- co-operation with local churches in work with migrants and refugees
- conferences and seminars on migration and asylum policies at regional, national and European level

Projects
Alongside its' usual activities, the SRM also carries out the following specific projects:

- "Migrants among Us": aimed at informing and training church members on issues related to migration and asylum
- "Foreign Prisoners": aimed at supporting foreign prisoners and volunteers working in prisons
- "A House for Migrants": a financial support programme for accommodation
- "Ecumenical scholarship programme (ESP)": financial support for the training of asylum-seekers and refugees
- "Christian Action Against Trafficking (CAT)": support for women victims of trafficking, co-financed by the EU
- "Reconciliation by Education - Kosovo": a project for educators and youth workers in Kosovo
- "Language Training": a language course programme co-financed by the Provincia di Roma
