The idea of setting up a Liturgical Network (Rete di Liturgia) was conceived in 1994 during the 10th FCEI General Assembly, which encouraged the churches to collect and share liturgical resources that are used in Italian churches, in the congregations working with migrants and in the world churches.

Rete di Liturgia periodically provides liturgical resources, texts and ideas to renew the Christian worship. Several booklets produced since 1996 contain theoretical reflections on worship, book reviews and various resources to be used both for individual parts of the service and for reflection on particular topics (immigration, reconciliation, women issues, environment).
